The project
375 rental apartments on the Moorestown Mall site, built in seven construction segments.
What usually comes next
Homes usually go on sale, or buyers start closing, as parts of the project are finished.
Township's revised Fourth Round housing plan says construction of the Pearl Apartments (Phase I of the Moorestown Mall redevelopment) restarted in August 2025 after a long pause following the parking garage, with framing to the roof on three-quarters of the building. The plan puts Phase I at a maximum of 350 units, 75 of them affordable family rentals, and a hotel to follow at the southwest corner of the mall property.
Moorestown Economic Development Advisory Committee minutes report the Pearl Apartment complex is still under construction and taking applications, and it may be up to nine months before tenants move in.
