The project
Remediation and redevelopment of a contaminated site at 3600 Route 47 South. The permits sought are a CAFRA individual permit for residential development other than single family homes or duplexes, a coastal general permit 20, a coastal wetlands individual permit, several freshwater wetlands general permit authorizations including hazardous site investigation and landfill closure, and a freshwater wetlands transition area waiver averaging plan.
What usually comes next
Once the permits are issued, the land is usually cleared and building starts.
The Middle Township Planning Board found the redevelopment plan for Block 1438.01, Lots 3, 4 and 4.01, the former Sam Cardile site by the bridge into Wildwood, consistent with the master plan and recommended the Township Committee adopt it.
